While working at the production company Studio Sixty Billion I was the Assistant Producer on the news and politics panel show Sam Delaney’s News Thing. I was responsible for talent scouting and booking new guests, creating VT packages and assisting in the production of original satire.
Guests on the show included Germaine Greer, Munroe Bergdorf - who I secured ahead of any other UK panel show - and comedians such as Bobby Davro, Marek Larwood and Christopher Biggins.
I assisted in the production of the spoof 1980’s Conservative Youth video ‘Maggiez Matez,’ casting the actor Gareth Cooper. The video was widely shared around the world gaining coverage in the UK and Australian press and gaining over 5million views across all social channels.
