I worked as a day producer on ITV’s flagship daytime show This Morning.
As a day producer the role includes; managing the content of your show in conjunction with the other department heads, scriptwriting your episode, briefing the presenters and crew, developing and implementing creative ideas to bring items and interviews to life, managing your AP and researcher team and pitching your show to the senior team, as well as producing the show live from the gallery.
During my time with the This Morning team I worked with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Allison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clarke, Vernon Kaye and Rochelle Humes, and Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.
